e3 Linux VPS plans from Hexabyte are built on servers with AMD EPYC 7713 processors, DDR4 RAM, and highly available NVMe storage with triple replication. Plans include 20 TB of outgoing traffic per month.
Hexabyte understands that speed is paramount for its customers, so all data is stored on enterprise-class NVMe SSDs. Faster and more energy-efficient! All data is replicated across three separate drives.
It's worth noting the illogical design of Hexabyte's panel. Only a link to create an instance is visible, but during execution, it returns an error stating that the payer's details have not been entered. After entering them, you'll see another error indicating that you need to add a card. Only then you can create an instance by re-entering all the details.
It's important to understand that root access is not provided. There's also no information on how to obtain it.
The so-called graphical console doesn't work, but a "terminal" is available, allowing you to log into the server as root. You need to set a password and specify the necessary parameters in the SSH server configuration to connect as root. The config file is completely empty, even the default parameters are missing. Therefore, you'll have to remember the names of all the necessary parameters yourself.
This is all extremely inconvenient and also points to the possibility of extensive customization of the VPS operating system. And that's not good.
There's also no option to boot from ISO. And the OS options are limited to one version of Ubuntu and a few versions of Debian. Not much.
