Cloudzy is an independent cloud platform created in the United Arab Emirates and designed for developers, traders, and businesses seeking high-performance VPS servers at competitive prices and with expert support.
Hannan, who has experience with virtual machines, launched RouterHosting in 2008 to make VPS hosting and remote desktops affordable. This was the beginning of Cloudzy.

Cloudzy expanded its horizons with the acquisition of US-based VPS provider BuyVM (BuyVM.net). This significant move integrated BuyVM's customers into its powerful infrastructure, providing access to cutting-edge technology, expedited support, and expanded international capabilities. It also significantly strengthened their position in the North American market.

  • Registering an account with Cloudzy takes just a few seconds. You only need to provide your name (or nickname), email, and password. No other information is required. Once your email is confirmed, your account is ready. Payment is also easy, using a card, PayPal or cryptocurrency.
  • You can pay for VPS for periods shorter than one month. VPS is billed hourly, but the minimum payment is approximately 20% of the monthly cost.
  • The VPS control panel is very minimalist, but still offers all the functionality you need. Any function is accessible in just two clicks.
  • Backup is a paid service, $1.95 per month.
  • While there's no scaling, you can upgrade to a variety of pricing plans.

When ordering a server, you don't have a choice of OS; the VPS comes with Ubuntu 20.04. However, changing the OS is easy.
The VPS hosting country was also not specified when ordering, or it was implicitly specified and went unnoticed. The VPS I received was in Utah, USA.
The network on the virtual server is set up via DHCP.
The server also has an IPv6 address.

Security is poor: the VPS password is sent in clear text via email; two-factor authentication is missing.

Issues found:
After certain actions, the network stopped responding. Meanwhile, data input via the VNC console was only possible occasionally. Restarting the VM didn't resolve the issue; the network was down. After contacting Cloudzy technical support, I received a response stating that the network on your virtual server would be blocked for 1 hour during any active use.

  • Running Speedtest? Network blocking for an hour!
  • Started copying a backup? Network blocked for an hour!
  • Migrating a project? Network blockage for an hour!

This is outrageous! With such a positive impression of their control panel, such a negative experience trying to use the VPS itself.
